WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Rural Americans are more likely to undergo from chronic health conditions akin to diabetes, coronary heart problems and cancer, and face higher difficulty accessing high quality healthcare than urban counterparts, in keeping with a report released on Wednesday.
Jennifer Matthews is a Professor of Nursing at Shenandoah University. She earned a PhD in Nursing Administration and Policy from George Mason University.
